Refund Policy

At Sonome Sounds, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Because our products are digital goods delivered electronically, our refund policy varies depending on the type of product purchased.

Software Instruments (VST/AU Plugins)

We offer a 30-day refund policy on all software instrument purchases. If you are unsatisfied with a plugin for any reason, you may request a refund within 30 days of your original purchase date. To request a refund, please email us at support@sonomesounds.com with your order number and the reason for your request. Refunds are processed through Paddle, our payment provider, and will be returned to the original payment method. Please allow a reasonable processing period for the refund to appear on your statement.

Sample Packs and Audio Content

Due to the nature of downloadable audio content, all sales of sample packs, drum kits, loop packs, and similar audio products are final and non-refundable. Once a sample pack has been downloaded, the files cannot be returned or un-delivered. We encourage you to listen to all available audio previews on the product page before purchasing to ensure the content meets your needs.

Exceptions

We reserve the right to grant refunds outside of this policy on a case-by-case basis at our discretion. If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from using a product — such as a corrupted download or a file compatibility problem — please contact us at support@sonomesounds.com and we will work with you to resolve the issue, which may include a replacement download or a refund.

We also reserve the right to deny refund requests that we reasonably determine to be abusive, such as repeated purchases and refund requests for the same product.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund for an eligible product, email support@sonomesounds.com with the following information: your full name, the email address used for the purchase, your order number, and a brief description of the reason for your request. We aim to respond to all refund requests within 2 business days.
